Kevin Spacey is one of Hollywood’s most respected living actors. Now comes the trailer for Spacey’s latest film, Nine Lives, in which he plays… a talking cat.
In the film, Spacey portrays a New York millionaire named Tom Brand, whose busy work life and focus on career have made him a stranger to his wife (Jennifer Garner) and young daughter. When his latest business event causes him to be late to his daughter’s birthday party (apparently not a rare occurrence) he aims to make up for it by buying her surprising her with a pet cat even though he himself despises the animals. Unfortunately, his quest takes him into a pet store that turns out to be operated by mysterious man with magical powers (Christopher Walken) who transforms Brand himself into a cat and delivers him to his family – where he now has one week to renew his emotional connection and learn what’s really important in his life or be trapped in the body of a cat forever.
