Juno, written by Diablo Cody, writer of many top rated movies and directed by Jason Reitman is a comedy-drama film in which the main character Juno has been magnificently played by Ellen Page. The story fit for the plot of top 10 movies is simple and has been executed in a simple manner by the director and portrayed in an admirably simple style by all the actors.

Juno Mcguff, a high school student gets pregnant during a one night stand with her long time friend and school mate, Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera). Instead of aborting the child, she looks for adoption options in which she is supported by her close friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby). On going through Pennysaver, she comes across an ad by a couple in need of a child. She confides in her father Mac i.e. J. K. Simmons, star of many top 10 movies and also her step-mother, Bren i.e. Allison Janney and gets their support. The couple Mark (Jason Bateman) and Vanessa Loring (Jennifer Garner) on meeting Juno and Mac express their desire to go for a closed adoption.

Vanessa who loves children and craves for one of her own is apprehensive about Juno and fears she may change her mind. Mark and Juno have bonded well because of their common interest in music and Juno spends much of her time with Mark at their home. Juno is warned by Bren not to get so intimate with Mark and one day Mark shows his feelings and asks Juno how she feels about him. Juno gets worried and gives no response as she is still emotionally attached with Paulie, who is also very much in love with her but does not express his feelings, just like its portrayed in the top rated movies. The two confront each other when Juno learns that Paulie has asked someone else for the promo night. But Paulie reminds her that she is responsible for the distance in their relationship.

Vanessa is shocked on being told by Mark that he was not ready to father a child. Their married life takes a turn for the worse and one day on a visit to their home, Juno learns of the differences between Mark and Vanessa. Deeply shocked, she comes to a decision and leaves a note for Vanessa, which says “Vanessa: If you’re still in, I’m still in. -Juno.” This makes it fit for top 10 movies. Juno confides in her father that she is still in love with Paulie and on his advice confides in Paulie and they begin a new chapter in their relationship. Juno delivers a baby boy and on hearing the news, Vanessa immediately rushes to the hospital and adopts the child as a single mother.

Kimya Dawson, singer of top movies has performed in solo some wonderful songs in the movie. The dialogues penned by Cody are catchy and some of the one-liners are simply superb and quite witty. This is Reitman’s second directorial venture (the first was Thank You for Smoking) and has kept the narrative of the movie in flow and made the visuals worth watching. If you are a teenager, the movie is for you – understand your parents and take their advice. If you are a parent, you should be supportive like Mac and Bren. So go and enjoy the movie, it is worth a visit.
