The “I Am Number Four” Movie Lit Up The Theater

Dreamworks released an action/sci-fi movie called “I Am Number Four” into theaters recently. I recently watched it, and without a doubt, this was the most awesome movie I’ve watched in a very long time. It offered a ton of action, special effects, and drama. It honestly left me wanting more, and from the looks of it, this just might be a continuing franchise. It stars: Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, and Callan McAuliffe.

The flick centered around a man named John (Alex Pettyfer) who’s a teen from a different planet that escaped, along with his protector Henri (Olyphant). There are others like him on the globe; however, they’re getting destroyed by evil warriors from his planet. Every one of John’s kind are tagged with a number. John is, in fact, number 4, and the evil ones are eliminating his kind off in chronological order. Every time one got killed, John’s leg would glow, and leave a scar for that victim.

The previous victim was number three, so he new he was next, and so did Henri. to get away from this terrible fate, they hit the highway again and put on another identification disguise to cover him from the wicked aliens. The sad thing is, they are close on his path now since his number is the next one in line. In the mean time, in John’s most recent town in Ohio, he shapes fairly sturdy bonds with some people, primarily with a lady named Sarah (Dianna Agron).

When it’s time for him to exit Ohio, he doesn’t wish to and refuses to go when Henri makes an effort to pressure him. Right after that, the best difficulties came about, and we were able to see how powerful John really is. He began expanding his powers in the new town, when this flick came to an end, he was kicking some major booty, as well as a new person who appeared on the scene to rescue him at some point, claiming she was number six (Teresa Palmer).

After she got here, it really got interesting because the flick featured number six vanishing and reappearing, cutting up evil men left and right, John participating in in on the action by cutting people up with his power, an enormous monster protector dog battling another gigantic monster, and more in order to preserve Earth from getting taken over by these evil guys.

Finally, when all the fantastic dust settled, I was completely amazed and screaming, sequel! They surely did leave it open for a sequel, and also gave information as to what might come in a future flick if it were to transpire.

Again, I think the film was very entertaining. Alex Pettyfer did an awesome job as the intense young alien, new guy. Glee’s Dianna Agron was very, very cute. She also did an excellent job acting too, lol! I gave this film an A score.
