It appears that a considerable chunk of the movie will be held on Earth which counters some early accounts suggesting that the complete flick will probably take place on Asgard with just the last act on planet Earth. Which of course, would certainly be a waste of the beauty of Mrs. Portman therefore I am not really amazed by this.
While on Earth, we should anticipate to encounter a few familiar faces and characters such as Agent Coulson from SHIELD, Nick Fury and maybe a cameo by Iron Man.
