One movie this year, will leave you laughing at hardcore zombie killing! If you’re looking for an edge of your seat thrill ride down zombie lane, then Woody Harrelson will be your very own tour guide to the abyss. I have not had this much fun, since watching “Shaun Of The Dead” on a blind date with Amish woman!
The critics are really loving this movie and it may put Woody Harrelson back on the map. Woody Harrelson has not been making too many successful movies lately, but this one sure looks like a crowd pleaser. Woody has a funny wit about him, that made him popular on Cheers and he brings you that same comedic magic in this outstanding zombie flick.
If you love zombie movies, which most of the human race does, then grab your significant other and give them the time of their lives. So many horror movies that involve comedy, fall short of scaring you and making you really laugh. This movie is a 10 on the laugh scale and worth every penny! How many comedic horror movies are produced by Hollywood, that are worth your time? Let me guess, you can count them on one hand.
Zombieland may be one of the best films this year and it might beat out all the horror films released in 2009. It already has a high rating at IMDB.com and will end up someday being a collectors item. Anyone who can grab an original movie poster, such as Zombieland, will possibly be able to sell it for a small fortune in the future. There are many collectors that would be interested in paying top dollar for anything zombie related.
There will be horror freaks who love this movie and others of an acquired taste, who will hate it. This movie is purely for enjoyment purposes and will rocket you out of your current reality. Anyone who seriously does not enjoy the humor and horror in this flick, may be taking life a little too seriously. I find this movie refreshing on so many levels, that a short article will not justify its worth.
The characters are well developed and Columbus played by Jesse Eisenberg, is going to win an Oscar one day. Jesse Eisenberg has a nerdy and subtle way of getting into your mind and putting a smile on your face. Will this film end up in the top 10 of all horror movies, probably not, but it will be in the top 30! This movie is fueled by energy and it is almost never ending! What really brings the film up a notch, is the surprising cameo of comedic legend Bill Murray.
The two sisters in this movie have definite trust issues, but it is not in anyway annoying. There are so many movies that need to be thrown into the wood chipper, but this is not one of them. I would encourage anyone who is looking for some cheap thrills and some zombie gore, to check out this film. Life is hard, but thank goodness we have movies with living dead people, that bring us happy thoughts all the way to the neighborhood bar and grill. Find someone you love and take them to this movie tonight, trust me, you will be glad you did.
