Once again, Disney picks a classic story to be filmed. This time is Rapunzel’s turn. This classic story comes from German folklore. It is the story of super long-haired girl who was imprisoned by her stepmother at the top of the tower. However, after re-written by Dean Wellins, the character and the story of Rapunzel in this film will not have a traditional story like its origin story.

With the new interpretation, the figure of Rapunzel becomes independent, and thus more acceptable to modern audiences. Most interestingly, Rapunzel is said to be able to use her hair that is more than 20 meters in length for a variety of ways, including as a whip and stairs.
